Berner Rose

- Vorziehen: ab Mitte März in einem hellen, warmen Raum.
- Aussaat: Samen ca. 0,5–1 cm tief in feuchtes Kokossubstrat oder BIO-Aussaaterde/Gemüseerde säen, leicht bedecken und andrücken.
- Feuchtigkeit: Substrat feucht, aber nicht nass halten (am besten mit Sprühflasche).
- Abdeckung: Anzuchtgefäß mit Klarsichtfolie abdecken und Löcher einstechen. Alle 2–3 Tage die Folie für ca. 2 Stunden entfernen.
- Keimung: hell und warm bei 20–24°C. Keimung meist nach 7–14 Tagen.
- Nach der Keimung: Abdeckung entfernen; sehr hell stellen, ohne pralle Mittagssonne, etwas kühler weiterkultivieren.
- Pikieren: sobald sich das zweite Blattpaar entwickelt, in 10-cm-Töpfe mit Abzugslöchern umsetzen und bis zu den ersten Blättern tiefer einpflanzen.
- Stützen: ab ca. 10 cm Höhe Stab oder Tomatenspirale geben.
- Auspflanzen: nach den Eisheiligen ab Mitte Mai an einen vollsonnigen Standort, Abstand ca. 60–80 cm.
- Standort: sonnig, regen- und windgeschützt.
- Pflege: gleichmäßig gießen, Staunässe vermeiden, regelmäßig ausgeizen und 4 sowie 8 Wochen nach dem Auspflanzen düngen.
- Überwinterung: im Folgejahr neu aussäen.

- Sowing: sow seeds about 0.5–1 cm deep into moist coco coir or organic seed/vegetable compost; cover lightly and firm.
- Moisture: keep moist but not wet, preferably using a spray bottle.
- Cover: cover the growing container with clear film and pierce a few holes. Remove the film for about 2 hours every 2–3 days.
- Germination: keep bright and warm at 20–24°C. Germination usually takes 7–14 days.
- After sprouting: remove the cover and keep the seedlings very bright, protected from harsh midday sun and slightly cooler.
- Pricking out: once the second pair of leaves develops, transplant into 10 cm pots with drainage holes and plant deeper up to the first leaves.
- Support: provide a stake or tomato spiral from approximately 10 cm height.
- Planting out: after the last frosts, usually from mid-May, in a fully sunny location with approximately 60–80 cm spacing.
- Location: sunny and sheltered from rain and wind.
- Care: water evenly, avoid waterlogging, remove side shoots regularly and fertilise 4 and 8 weeks after planting out.
- Winter: sow again the following year.

- Tuteurage : installer un tuteur ou une spirale à partir d'environ 10 cm de hauteur.
- Plantation : après les dernières gelées, généralement à partir de mi-mai, dans un emplacement très ensoleillé avec un espacement de 60–80 cm.
- Emplacement : ensoleillé et protégé de la pluie et du vent.
- Entretien : arroser régulièrement, éviter l'eau stagnante, supprimer les gourmands et fertiliser 4 et 8 semaines après la plantation.
- Hiver : ressemer l'année suivante.

- Trapianto all'aperto: dopo le ultime gelate, generalmente da metà maggio, in una posizione molto soleggiata con distanza di 60–80 cm.
- Posizione: soleggiata e protetta da pioggia e vento.
- Cura: irrigare regolarmente, evitare ristagni, eliminare i germogli ascellari e concimare 4 e 8 settimane dopo il trapianto.
